Our Field

In January 2007 we moved to the present field at Barthomley, we fly from a site that is located about half a mile from junction 16 on the M6 (the A500/M6 junction)

We have access to the field from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm at weekends and bank holidays and from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm on weekdays.

Membership Vacancies

The club has grown in recent years and now we have got to the same state as many commercial airfields, we are at full capacity at busy times.  So we are unable to take more members in 2010.  At the beginning of February 2011 we will see how many 2010 members have dropped out and re-assess our membership policy.

Potential members may visit the flying site, but are advised to contact one of the officials first, see the contacts page for their details

Indoor Flying

We are a club centred on flying outdoors from our field at Bartomley.
However several of our members fly small electric helicopters indoors in Crewe.  This is not a Crewe Model Helicopter Club activity; although our Safety Officer is a regular participant in indoor flying and may be contacted for details, see the contacts page.
