Our Field

In January 2007 we moved to our field at Barthomley, we fly from a site that is located about half a mile from junction 16 on the M6 (the A500/M6 junction)
In January 2012 we opened a second field nearby which we hope will prove to be better for bigger fixed wing models.
We have access to the fields from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm at weekends and bank holidays and from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm on weekdays.

Membership Vacancies

The club has grown in recent years and now we have got to the same state as many commercial airfields, we are at full capacity at busy times.  So we are unable to take more members in 2012.  At the beginning of February 2013 we will see how many 2012 members have dropped out and re-assess our membership policy.

Indoor Flying

We are a club centred on flying outdoors from our field at Bartomley.
However several of our members fly small electric helicopters indoors in Crewe.  This is not a Crewe Model Helicopter Club activity; although our Safety Officer is a regular participant in indoor flying and may be contacted for details, see the contacts page.
